In research published in The New England Journal of Medicine, scientists at the National Institutes of Health – Rocky Mountain National Laboratory (Hamilton, MT) reported the results of aerosol and surface stability studies with SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV-1. Aerosols were generated, controlled, and characterized with Biaera’s Aero3G aerosol management and control system. Aerosolized COVID-19 was aged in Biaera’s 40 Liter Goldberg drum static aerosol chamber. This important research will help guide clinicians, scientists, and epidemiologists as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
